This website is called Ophidana's because, aside from it being my virtual magic shop, I'm making a homemade web series based on its lore...
Lets just say it all started with a string of strange conversations in my head. For years, my imagination created various archetypal characters, (often borrowed from novels, short stories and especially anime) that became the official members of my mind's council. One day I understood I wanted to do them justice by broadcasting their voices and wisdom in a cinematic universe, but that was easier said than done. Then, in my despair, a Goddess visited me in a dream, and I finally saw it: they all belonged in her magic shop, Ophidana's.
The only problem was that I didn't have the cinematic training necessary for such a colossal task. I mean, apart from having written and recorded some improvises monologues for my instagram and youtube. ​Here is one of them, where I debuted a character (and in a way, an aesthetic) I would later retake for the series:​​​

Still, armed with faith, I tried my luck and bought lights and mics (I didn't know how to use), setting out to record (with my phone) the first part of this vision. It was a complete mess. I remember having to redo one of those first scenes about twenty times. Clearly, I had no idea of the labyrinth I was getting into 'cause four years later, I still don't have a clear date to premiere the series. But, the good news is that, even though I have had to step back several times just to regroup, now I am making progress. You know what they say, failure is the greatest teacher...
So, now that you made it this far and know a little more about the Ophidana's, pray for me to her, would you? It might speed things up. Much appreciated,
